CGear Multimat was originally designed as a deployable helimat to eliminate dirt, dust and debris from being kicked up by the helicopters rotors when landing. The product was so successful in eliminating sand, dirt and dust from helicopter landings that we applied it to camping sites.
Sand and dirt fall straight through the mat to the ground beneath-but not back up through the mat. The CGear Multimat is ideal for outdoor living areas and provides a sand and dirt free area for camping sites. The Multimat can be used as a shade mat (providing 90%+ UV Protection) and as windbreak break mat for screening. Designed in Australia for Australian conditions by a proudly Australian owned company.

We had seven years of enjoyment with our large CGear mat during our caravanning days. It complemented our outdoor setting brilliantly wherever we set up camp, from Cobbold Gorge (QLD) to Karijini National Park (WA), Kings Canyon (NT), Lakes Entrance (VIC), Merrimbula (NSW) and Mikkira Station Koala Sanctuary (SA). Now that we have downsized to a motorhome, we expect to enjoy the same level of enjoyment and comfort from our CGear Multimat, regardless of the terrain on which we camp.

This is the second multimat we have purchased, now we can access both sides of our camper without having to worry about dragging dirt and dust into the cabin.

We purchased this mat in November 2025 and the peg tabs are breaking down and the d rings are falling off. 5 so far have come off.

Used our new mat at Riversedge and it was great during some wet weather.
First time use and the van stayed clean from dirt and sand. Didn't find the mat slippery like others have experienced. Highly recommended for those camping in grubby areas.
Quality mat with plenty of D Buckles around the edge. Definitely worth the spend.
In sandy conditions this Mat is a game changer! The sand just disappears below the mat, if the sand is wet once it dries it disappears leaving a clean surface and less mess being tramped into the van.
Had our old mat for years but with the bigger caravan now we decided to get bigger mat, now using both 😀
Epic mat keeping our camper so clean
It's a great mat and was good for filtering the sand but that's the only surface it can be used on. When we tried to use it on fine gravel we have found it's already creating holes. Mat is only a few weeks old.

Perfect for us and the pup. Easy to sweep, if needed during a stay. A quick shake and fold when packing up. Great product and would buy again.
Love this mat so clean on gravel or grass areas have had it for 15 years ,need to replace it as have purchased a longer van ,will pass it onto our son so he can enjoy the benefits of using a CGEAR mat the best buy far.

Free camping on a very hot day but our mat is brilliant. Big tufts of grass made it uncomfortable for the doggos but they are very happy now. Thank you. The mat is super soft under foot and just what we were hoping for. The hype was right

This fantastic mat 5.2 X 2.4 metres is being used for the first time since it was purchased. It has made our trip to Lake Argyle Caravan Park much cleaner than other places we have visited. The excellent threads make it much cleaner than any other mat I have used. It has made my caravan a lot better to keep clean.

Smaller and lighter than our previous mat. No need to peg it down as it naturally stays in place. Feels nice underfoot too. A little bit slippy if ground is uneven.
